A guest’s boarding card is used as payment, and charges are tallied to the total bill at the end of the cruise. The Cruise Line Point of Sale System interfaces directly with your property management system aboard the ship. The system is very similar to direct pay at a restaurant or retail venue on land, but it’s a different system and a different level of authorization. The POS system also automates age verification for age restricted sales.
